Bio

A classically trained pianist from an early age, Steve has devoted his skills to creating deep, emotional music that speaks to the heart.

Steve began playing the piano at age 3 and excelled early on in classical piano performance. This background served as a solid foundation for work in a variety of genres through studio session work as a keyboardist and as a music director in musical theatre.

Steve’s skill in arranging and orchestrating also started to emerge in his youth and he has been the arranger and orchestrator for a large number of pops performances and traditional symphony orchestra performances. In addition to concert works, Steve has also had the privilege of being on the orchestration team for film composer Christopher Young.

Holding a graduate diploma in film and game scoring from the Film Scoring Academy of Europe, Steve has been focusing his musical efforts on composing for media. His first credited film score was the independent horror film “Canary”, a Colony 9 production.

  • “Steve was so easy to work with. Spotting meetings were enjoyable and he easily understood the emotional content I was looking for in each scene. He has a sense of humor when it comes to critique and his score shows the thoughtful depth I am constantly looking for in a composer.”
